Daniel Edelhoff was born in Bochum, Germany, in 1979. He started playing the trumpet at the age of eight in the local church brass band. At just fifteen, he became a student of Professor M. After 2004 he held principal trumpet positions in several well-known German orchestras–Staatskapelle Halle, Essener Philharmoniker and Niederrheinische Sinfoniker. As solo trumpet Daniel Edelhoff has performed with the Orchestre Philharmonique Luxembourg, Radio Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart, Mahler Chamber Orchestra and Orchestra Mozart conducted by Claudio Abbado.
